We are happy to have been one of the first guests in this beautiful newly renovated guesthouse. Roxana and Tony, the owners, did a great job at restoring an old house and transforming it into a cozy, rustic, bohemian house perfect for people that appreciate Transylvania's heritage. Clean, comfortable and located right in the centre of Cisnadioara village, only 20 minutes away from Sibiu's old town. Would love to come back again.

Tony and Roxana are very proud of their village and guest house. It took them two years to refurbish Michelsberger Haus. Roxana who is Romanian speaks English very well. Tony speaks it very well too, he is English. The job was spectacular. Everything is restored in the spirit of a traditional Romanian house of the time. Comfort and more. It would be 800 years old. Their kindness and passion for this place ensure unexpected authenticity. This changed us from the usual impersonal downtown hotels. The village is simple. A fortress is to see on the hill overlooking the village. C ' is deep Romania, a village where people live quietly without the tourist pressure.

Interesting place. The owner welcomed us even though we arrived late. Everything was wonderful. I recommend. (Keep in mind: the double room with a view of the garden has a very small window - more for ventilation).

Very nice, lovingly renovated farmhouse. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast in the quaint vaulted cellar.

This small house from the past century, which was lucky enough to fall into some passionate hands, is not just an accommodation space where you stay after visiting the attractions in the area, it is itself a magical place where you can enjoy a piece of history, a place loved by the owners who nurtured it so carefully, a welcoming place with wonderful hosts. The place is lovely and the hoasts really nice. The house was very well restaurated. The breakfeast was amazing. Moreover, at less than 500 m there is the old churh, a coffee shop, a good restaurant. We loved the stay to Michelsberger Haus.

We felt like we came to parents who had been waiting for us for years. The hosts are extremely hospital! Tony cooked delicious porridge for breakfast for our kid even though it wasn't supposed to be served. We were simply surrounded by details that might bring you back to the 18th century so it's all well preserved. In the meantime, you will still feel comfortable due to the modern furniture that was carefully "injected" into the house.

Very friendly hosts! They also speak perfect English or German. Great coffee and the breakfast was excellent, left nothing to be desired. Nice courtyard, even for breakfast or to sit there in the evening. Clean room and bathroom. Good bed. Very good location for visiting Sibiu/Herrmanstadt and the (huge) open air museum Astra (by car). Quasi directly opposite, the restaurant 7 Tei with a beautiful garden or yard and good pizza. The (somewhat atypical) church castle on the hill - practically directly behind the house - I found it wonderful, especially in the evening. There is not really much to see there, but due to the peace and the atmosphere it was an almost magical place for me and I have been there several times for many hours. I also found the village pleasantly quiet and pleasant.
